I notice things.
Small things. Contradictions. Patterns. Things people say and, more interestingly, what they don't.
Systems that don't speak to each other. Systems that seem to have intentional beef with each other, despite requiring the rest of us to make them get along.
The million things we accommodate so routinely that eventually we stop seeing how strange they are.
I notice them. Then I carry them around.
Sometimes they connect to something else. Sometimes they become a question. Sometimes they wander off and come back carrying evidence.
Unverified is where I'm holding them.
A field notebook for things noticed + strung together. Questions that follow me home. Ideas I haven't finished having yet.
I spent a lot of time believing that I needed to arrive at the answer before I was allowed to write about the question.
I don't think that's the case anymore.
Some entries here will become essays. Others will be visual attempts at clarity. Some will eventually prove completely wrong.
