UNVERIFIED

Unverified is a field notebook for things noticed + strung together.

Patterns. Contradictions. Systems behaving strangely. Things people say, and sometimes more interestingly, what they don’t.

Some observations become essays. Some become diagrams, photographs, lists, or exhibits. Some remain unfinished theories.

The point isn’t to arrive with an answer.

It’s to notice the question before it becomes ordinary.

ABOUT ROSANNA

Rosanna Iancau notices things.

Contradictions. Patterns. The thing someone says, and the more interesting thing they don’t. Systems that make perfect sense individually and considerably less sense once they’re asked to coexist.

Her interests have never behaved particularly well around categories.

She started in biochemistry, wandered into women and gender studies, studied predictive analytics, and has spent nearly two decades working inside large organizations. She knows enough about data to want evidence, and enough about people to be suspicious of anything that explains them too neatly.

Of all the titles she’s collected, mom is the one that rearranged everything.

Rosanna is interested in work, motherhood, technology, culture, organizations, language, human behavior, and the invisible infrastructure holding ordinary life together.

She has credentials.

She also has questions.

Unverified exists for the questions.

It’s a place to follow something before knowing where it leads. To notice a pattern without immediately declaring it a framework. To make a diagram because sometimes a diagram will do. To change her mind when the evidence gets inconvenient.

There will be research here. There will also be observations, artifacts, half-formed theories, and things that seemed important enough to write down.

No expertise is claimed over everything.

Curiosity is.
